[Mae'r / Y] goleuni sy'n ninas ein Duw

(Gogoniant yr Iesu yn y nefoedd - Rhan II)
Y goleuni sy'n ninas ein Duw,
  Sy tu hwnt i amgyffred un dyn,
'Does neb all ei weled, a byw,
  Ond y dorf ogoneddus ei hun:
'Dyw grisial yn ngolwg yr haul,
  Neu wydr f'ai lawer mwy pur,
I lewyrch y nefoedd ddim ail:
  Fy Iesu yw'r ffynnon yn wir.

Mae yno dri Pherson yn bod,
  Ac etto mewn sylwedd ond Un,
Gogyfuwch mewn gallu a chlod,
  I wared plant Adda'n gyttûn;
Yn hyn rhyw ddyfnderoedd y sy
  Rhy fawrion i'w chwilio hwy 'mlaen,
Yn drech na hwynt-hwythau sy fry
  I'w gwybod hwy allan yn lân.

'Does mesur amseroedd byth fry,
  Dim oriau cyffelyb i'r byd;
Myn'd heibio ryw oesoedd y sy
  Wrth ganu i'r Drindod ynghyd;
'R holl nefoedd, wrth weled ei ras,
  Sy'n synu, yn canu'n fwy hy'
Ganiadau newyddion eu blas:
  Wel, dyna'r digrifwch sydd fry.
Y goleuni ... // Sy tu hwnt :: Mae'r goleuni ... // Tu hwnt

(The glory of Jesus in heaven - Part 2)
The light that is in the city of our God,
  Which is beyond the grasp of any man,
No-one can see it, and live,
  But the glorious host themselves:
Neither the crystal in sight of the sun,
  Nor glass would be much more pure,
Compared with the radiance of heaven:
  My Jesus is truly the source.

There are there three Persons being,
  And yet in substance but One,
Equally high in power and esteem,
  To deliver Adam's children in agreement;
In this there are some depths
  Some great things to seek out,
It is beyond those that are above
  To know them altogether completely.

There is never any measure to times above,
  No hours similar to the world;
Some ages pass
  While singing to the Trinity together;
The whole heavens, on seeing his grace,
  Are astonished, singing more boldly
Songs with a new flavour:
  See, that is the pleasure that is above.
